As per the Scottish Government announcement on Thursday 18th June, we will resume trading at our shop on Newmarket Street, Falkirk on Monday 29th June.
There will be many changes in the way we operate, until such time that we can be safe in the knowledge that the virus has been successfully controlled.
Our hours will be reduced to the general public. From Monday 29th, our general operating hours will be 10-3pm, Monday-Friday and 10-5pm on Saturdays.
The hours of 3-5pm on weekdays will be available to book for appointments. These appointments are for discussing remodelling or making jewellery, trying on and purchasing and anyone with large quantities of repair/alteration work. All other repairs and alterations can be handed in during the hours of 10-3pm although anyone who is nervous about being around other customers is also welcome to book an appointment. Ultimately, we want everyone to feel comfortable and safe.
Within the shop, we have installed screens and will be wearing visors or masks where appropriate.
Markers on the floor will provide direction and distance requirements.
There is hand sanitiser positioned at the entrance for use on entering and exiting the premises as well as an additional bottle on the counter.
All jewellery which is tried on by customers will be set aside for immediate cleaning before being put back on display.
Where appropriate, jewellery will be placed in an LED UVC sterilising unit to reduce the transmission of disease.
I hope these measures will put everyones mind at ease that we are being as responsible as we can be while trying to give as normal a shopping experience as possible.
If you would like to book an appointment, you can do so by contacting us through Facebook or by clicking here.
